A 13-Day Journey Through Argentine & Chilean Patagonia
From$900 per person per day

Patagonia. The name evokes images of sparse landscapes punctuated by jagged peaks, wispy clouds dancing across open skies, and endless expanses of wild rivers, majestic lakes, and vast glaciers stretching to distant horizons. Patagonia has achieved notoriety as a bucket-list destination for good reason, and this custom adventure will take you to the very best parts that both Argentina and Chile have to offer.

After a brief stint exploring the sights and tastes of Buenos Aires, including an evening tango lesson, you will soon find yourself in the heart of Argentine Patagonia, El Chalten. Surrounded by the pristine wilderness of Los Glaciares National Park, explore some of Patagonia’s most scenic trails. Hike across colorful wetlands, braided river valleys, and verdant forests to gain stunning views of the jagged peaks of Fitz Roy, Cerro Torres, and other rocky sentinels that loom over shimmering glacial lakes below.

A highlight of visiting Patagonia is immersing yourself in the traditional ranching culture by staying at an estancia, and you will spend several days based at an authentic sheep-breeding estancia near the picturesque town of El Calafate. In addition to making friends with the gauchos and exploring the stunning countryside by horseback, foot, or bicycle, you will also have the opportunity to day-trip to the nearby Perito Moreno glacier to explore its moulins, crevasses, and seracs on a glacier minitrekking expedition.

The culminating experience of your Patagonian odyssey will take you across the international border to Chile’s world-famous Torres del Paine National Park. Based from a luxurious eco-camp overlooking Lago el Toro, you will have your choice of daily explorations. Lose yourself in the raw beauty of the jagged peaks, dynamic glaciers, and mirror-glass lagoons that surround you as you explore by kayak, horseback, bicycle, or foot.

After 13 exhilarating days of comprehensive exploration, a flight from Punta Arenas brings you to Santiago to catch your departing flight home.
