Welcome to Buenos Aires, the capital of Argentina! You will be met upon arrival and escorted to your boutique hotel by private vehicle. Enjoy an afternoon at leisure.
Experience the very best that Argentina has to offer, from witnessing the powerful torrent of Iguazu Falls to exploring the sweeping glacial landscapes of the El Calafate region of Patagonia. You will begin and end this adventure in Argentina’s vibrant capital city, Buenos Aires, where you will visit colorful local markets and charming historic buildings with your local guide before enjoying a gourmet dinner and tango performance.
After experiencing the heartbeat of Buenos Aires you will fly north to the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Iguazu Falls. Situated on the border of Brazil and Argentina, you will embark on guided explorations of both sides of the falls by foot, by open-air train, and by boat. The subtropical forest that surrounds you supports a treasure trove of biodiversity, so keep your eyes out for toucans, parrots, macaws, monkeys, armadillos, and other creatures who call this astonishing ecosystem home.
No trip to Argentina is complete without a journey southward to explore the azure lakes, iconic peaks, and sweeping landscapes of Patagonia. You will fly to El Calafate and then spend three nights at the exclusive EOLO Lodge, a 10,000-acre estancia located in a privileged location on the Patagonian steppe. From here you will enjoy local explorations of the property’s lakes and mountains by horseback, bicycle, or hiking. Take a day trip to stand in front of the grandness of the iconic Perito Moreno glacier in nearby Los Glaciares National Park, or admire the immense glaciers and mountain vistas from a boat cruise on Lago Argentina.

After breakfast you will enjoy a city tour with your private guide, taking in the history, culture, and sights of Buenos Aires. After an afternoon at leisure you will sip wine and dine upon a gourmet dinner while enjoying an evening tango show.
Today you’ll fly to Iguazu Falls, where you will then transfer by vehicle to Hotel Gran Melia. Upon arrival, you will be wowed by the striking view of the falls from your room. Your private guide will take you for an afternoon tour of the falls on the Brazilian side.
With 275 individual waterfalls scattered across two miles, there is a lot to explore! Today you will get up close to the falls on the Argentina side, hiking along walkways and then taking an open-air train to view the impressive Devil’s Throat. After lunch, you will head downstream and take a specially designed Zodiac boat into the very heart of the falls, crossing over a mile of rapids to view the thundering falls around you.
Depart the lush subtropical rainforests of Iguazu Falls this morning bound for El Calafate in Patagonia, with your flight transferring through Buenos Aires. Upon arrival in El Calafate, you will be met at the airport and transferred to your hotel.
EOLO Lodge, located on a 10,000-acre estancia partway between the town of El Calafate and Los Glaciares National Park, is the perfect retreat from which to explore Patagonia. You will have two days to partake in daily activities from the lodge, including an entire day to visit Los Glaciares National Park and trek on the ice of the iconic Perito Moreno glacier. Additional activities include options to view the majestic glaciers surrounding Lago Argentina by boat cruise, exploring the lakes and countryside of EOLO by horseback or mountain bike, or simply relaxing at the lodge and spending the afternoon birdwatching.
Your time in Patagonia will come to an end too soon! Depart for the local airport and then fly back to Buenos Aires to catch your international flight home.
