Kapamba Bushcamp

Kapamba Bush Camp

Kapamba Bush Camp is a stylish and remote retreat in the southern sector of Zambia’s South Luangwa National Park, known for its rich wildlife and close-up wildlife encounters. Set along the Kapamba River, this small camp features four spacious open-fronted chalets built of stone and thatch, each with open-fronted bedrooms with wide verandas and twin showers with views of the river. The central living area is shaded by  matumi and sausage trees, opening onto an extended deck with a refreshing pool. Game drives and walking safaris with expert guides offer the chance to encounter South Luangwa’s famed leopards, elephants, and wild dogs, while the camp’s seclusion ensures a peaceful, uncrowded feel. Evenings are relaxed and elegant, with sundowners enjoyed in the river and dinners served beneath star-strewn skies. Kapamba is ideal for adventurous yet comfort-loving travelers looking for a blend of romance, wilderness, and one of the most scenic corners of the Luangwa Valley.
